Presentation
The Melodic Ornamentation course carries out a study of the ornamentation described in medieval theoretical treatises and the study of its examples in musical sources (900-1300). The student will learn to ornament medieval melodies (both vocal and instrumental) through the study of examples, conventions, and practice with different repertoires.
El curso de Ornamentación Melódica realiza un estudio de la ornamentación descrita en los tratados teóricos medievales y el estudio de sus ejemplos en las fuentes musicales (900-1300). El estudiante aprenderá a ornamentar melodías medievales (tanto vocales como instrumentales) a través del estudio de ejemplos, de convenciones y de la práctica con diferentes repertorios.
