In this intermediate level course for wind instruments (bagpipes / pipe & tabor) the student will explore the different types of repertoire that can be associated with wind instruments, analyze the broader context of these repertoires, and prepare their music for performance taking into consideration medieval performance conventions and genre. Students also will expand both their repertoire and their advance their playing techniques.

En este curso avanzado para instrumentos de viento (gaita / flauta y tamboril) el alumno explorará los diferentes tipos de repertorio que se pueden asociar a los instrumentos de viento, analizará el contexto más amplio de estos repertorios y preparará su música para realizar una interpretación basada en las convenciones del período y el género respectivo y ampliara tanto su repertorio como su técnica de interpretación.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
It is necessary to have a beginning-intermediate level on the bagpipe/pipe & tabor (medieval or modern), and basic knowledge of medieval music notation and music history. Se necesita un nivel intermedio-avanzado con gaitas / flauta y tamboril (y conocimiento básico de notación medieval e historia de la música medieval).
