Presentation
This course aims to provide students with an overview of the National Health System, identifying the main differences with other health systems such as the American one.There will be a special focus on the functioning of midwifery in our country and care in rural areas, with special attention to mountain rescue.
The student will have the opportunity to visit primary care centres and the Research Institute (IRBLleida).
In addition, the student is immersed in our culture through cultural and social activities together with other students of the Nursing Degree.

OVERVIEW OF THE SPANISH HEALTH SYSTEM AND NURSING APPROACH TO HEALTH CARE- Lecture Spanish Healthcare System and Mapping of the community exercise
- Primary healthcare in Spain and Catalonia. Visit Primary healthcare center and IRBLleida
- Primary and community health care in rural/mountain area. Mountain rescue.
- Midwifery program in primary health care
- Dynamic and cultural exchange activities with spanish nursing students
